**Description**

**Responsibilities**

Positions parts according to company specifications, blueprints and knowledge of unit being

assembled.

Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.

Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.

May be required to paint parts according to specification.

Responsible for working safely and wearing proper PPE.

Drive forklift to maneuver parts and equipment to different locations safely.

**Qualifications**

Entry-level position but experience with assembly, tools and manufacturing processes helpful.

Ability to communicate with team members; may cross-train with other positions.

Ability to follow design details to meet company standards.

Ability to focus on tasks and pay close attention to detail.

Problem solving skills to assess, adapt to, and overcome challenges.

Ability to work with deadlines and possess good organizational skills.

Comfortable reading blueprints and customer-related drawings.

Ability to use time efficiently, prioritizes and plans work activities to meet goals.

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; provides

feedback to improve performance; monitors and ensures work meets company standards.

May be required to wear respirator and meet respiratory protection guidelines.
